2018 Annual Symposium: "Weapons of Mass Destruction: Weapons of Intimidation, Coercion, and War"

About:

The 2018 Symposium focuses on the evolving role of WMD within the geopolitical strategies, defense policies, and military plans of potential U.S. adversaries.  From Great Powers to violent extremist organizations (VEOs), numerous actors view WMD as a means to threaten the United States and its allies and partners, and to attempt to deter or combat U.S. military power.  The event will feature expert assessments of current and emerging WMD threats and the policies, strategies, and capabilities necessary to counter them at home and abroad.

 

The overall classification of the symposium will be SECRET REL FVEY level. Symposium registration is limited to personnel from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States who possess the requisite security clearance.
