The continually evolving threat posed by Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) is an enduring challenge for the U.S. national security community and will be an area the Biden Administration has to address. Countering, deterring, and controlling chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons in bothtraditional and novel forms will require innovative thinking. The already complex WMD landscape has been further complicated with the pandemic, use of disinformation by our competitors, and rapid advancements in multiple technologies.
